We are a community group and as such try and take part in as much of the local community life as we can.
We have strong links with the local primary school. We are involved in town events such as World Heritage Day and World Book Day, we plant bulbs in the community garden and also take part in litterpicks around the town.
We have strong links with The Arthur Jenkins Home and carol sing with the residents at Christmas time.
The children and staff are often seen out and about in the community. We make good use of local facilities such as Big Pit Mining Museum and the Blaenavon Library.
Busy Bees also hold special events for the children – usually within their session times.
Sometimes we ask all children to dress up in costume for special events day such as St David’s Day.
